"Virginia Beach KOA" in Virginia Beach, Virginia - was rated: 3
Did not like this campground. Bath houses weren't clean as often as they should of been for that time of year. Pool had film all around.

"South Forty RV Park (Formerly Petersburg KOA)" in Petersburg, Virginia - was rated: 8
Stayed here for six nights. Very friendly staff. Mostly overnight and weekend campers. Some monthly sites available. Campground is kept very clean. Campstore with limited supplies and pricey. Quiet atmosphere with very little noise from I-95. Would come here again.

"Harpers Ferry KOA" in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia - was rated: 9
We picked this site due to its proximity to several historical landmarks and we were not disappointed. The campground becomes quite busy after 4 PM so get there early. This park is a short haul for the DC metro area. The sites are not gravel or paved so when it rains it gets muddy. Overall a good site on the fringe of Washington DC.

"Chicago Northwest KOA" in Union, Illinois - was rated: 8
This is a great campground. It has a security gate which made us feel very safe. The owners were friendly and helpful. They had all sorts of neat information for when visiting Chicago. The mini golf is great for the kids and they had banana bikes too. Great fun! The wifi worked great and was free! We will camp here again in the future.

"Coloma St. Joseph KOA" in Riverside, Michigan - was rated: 8
This is an old campground but well maintained and in quiet rural surroundings. They do fabulous doughnuts and coffee in the morning. The wifi works great and the owners were eager to help us with directions for sightseeing. The staff and owners were very friendly and the sites were big enough for our big rig. We would stay here again.
